Basswood 8399 Motherboard
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hello Support Community folks,

I am looking for the actual manual for the HP Basswood 8399 motherboard. My particular issue is I need to verify precisely which screw and standoff I need to install an M.2 SSD, but I want the entire manual too.

This page does not have it: https://support.hp.com/us-en/document/c05634309

The page for my PC model series and the specific model do not have it.

https://support.hp.com/us-en/product/hp-pavilion-power-580-100-desktop-pc-series/17142197/manuals

 https://support.hp.com/us-en/product/HP-Pavilion-Power-580-100-Desktop-PC-series/17142197/model/1847...

These pages claim to have manuals but actually they are just user guides, and nothing specific for the motherboard or for installing an M.2 SSD.

@RonaldDanger , welcome to the forum.

The document that you listed is the closest to a full manual that HP provides for the motherboard.  The way to know which stand-off to use for the M.2, SSD, is install it in the socket and use the one at the end of it.  There is nothing else to know.  Here are the other manuals for the computer: https://support.hp.com/us-en/product/hp-pavilion-power-580-100-desktop-pc-series/17142197/manuals

Stand off and screws sets are universal standard.
