HP ENVY Phoenix Desktop - 860-180st CTO
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I have a HP Envy Phoenix Desktop 560-180St CTO.  The OS is Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I need to upgrade my graphics card to support a new version of On1 software. I need a graphics card with the following specs:

a video card that supports OpenGL 4.2, DirectX 12, Vulkan 1.1, and DirectML, and has a minimum of 2GB or VRAM.

I have an Envy Desktop 860-180st CTO.

According to HP, I have a PCI Express x16 (Gen 3.0): 1

                                              PCI Express x1 (Gen 2.0): 1

I would like to purchase ca graphics card that meets the specs - probably with more RAM or VRAM and also be able to fit in  an  expansion slot.

Suggestions very welcome!

P. S.: I accidently dislodged the wifi/bluetooth wire that connects to the motherboard & can't see where it connects. Any help appreciated.

Thanks!

@Minnow301 , welcome to the Community.

Here is a HP Knowledge Base article that will explain what to consider when adding or upgrading a video card.  The two main considerations are the length of the card and the wattage required to operate it properly.

You didn't mention how much you want to spend on a video card.  Here is a video card that should meet the requirements for a reasonable price.  If you don't want to buy this card it is a good example of what will work.

Here are the Motherboard Specifications and a diagram of the motherboard with labels.  I don't see any connector for the wifi antenna.  It may be somewhere around the WLAN SSD.

Please click the "Yes" button if my reply was helpful and "Accept as Solution" if your problem is Solved!!
