I want to replace my Nvidia GeForce GT 545 graphics card on my old PC.
It crashes regularly.
I have tried a GeForce GT 710 card but the boot screen is blocked.
Can I use this card on my PC or not?
If not, what other cards can I install with my motherboard?
Thank you for your reply.

Your PC has a legacy BIOS which limits the models of graphics cards you can install.
The GeForce 710 is too new for your PC's BIOS to accept.
If you want a Nvidia card, the newest models you can install would be one of the GeForce GT 6xx models that would also work with your PC's power supply wattage.
AMD cards would be limited up to the Radeon HD 6xxx series.

Greetings @Manu-Poirier
Welcome to the HP Forum.
Your PC's MB seems to have a Legacy BIOS. Your PC's BIOS has no upgrade path to a UEFI BIOS.
Nvidia 700 series and above graphics cards require a UEFI BIOS.
You would have to look at Nvidia 500 series or Nvidia 600 series graphics card upgrades.

You're very welcome.
I found this video which you can try to see if it works for your GT710 since your PC has the same motherboard.

You can use your existing graphics card to make the BIOS setting changes.
However, do it at your own risk.
