New PC - Noisy Fan!

HP Recommended
All-In-One 24-df0xxx
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hi,

I had my new PC today and have set it up, it works really well but I can't get passed the noise of the fan, it's just a low whirring sound but it's constant.

I've already tried loads of suggestions I've found e.g. changing power saving settings, but nothing works!

Anyone got any solutions that actually do work?

@zoebooth , welcome to the forum.

I know the sound well. It can definitely get on your nerves.  There is not a lot that you can do to fix the problem.  It may or may not quit after a bit, but I suggest that you contact the seller to see what they will do for you.  The fan will most likely have to be replaced.  If you bought the computer directly from HP you should contact HP Customer Support.

Please click the Thumbs up + button if I have helped you and click Accept as Solution if your problem is solved.
