Hi everyone,

unfortunately, my laptop does not perform a startup anymore at all, and haven't been able to identify the issue.

Clues:

1) No noise or reaction to me pressing the on/off button whatsoever
2) The light next to the charging socket burns white while the AC module is plugged in, but turns off after a few seconds while continuously pressing the startup-button for a while.

The problem occured suddenly, the battery is quite weak after 3 years of frequent use, however it doesn't seem to be that.

I followed these instructions so far, until the CMOS step.

I tried the unplugging - 15 seconds start-button pressing - plugging-in method. Removed the battery and tried another AC outlet, all to no avail. I haven't changed the CMOS battery, because I haven't located it yet. Should I try this for my device?

Thank you and best regards!
