Upgrades:

GPU: https://www.msi.com/Graphics-card/GeForce-GTX-1060-AERO-ITX-6G-OC.html

PSU: https://www.ebay.com/itm/Rosewill-550-Watt-Gaming-Computer-Power-Supply-80-Plus-Bronze-PSU-ARC-550/1...

Everything else is the same. I still have the msi ms-7778, amd a8-5500, DDR3. I upgraded the power supply and that went well, no problems there. I went to device manager and uninstalled the AMD Radeon HD 7560D (APU). Then procceded to install the GTX 1060 6gb. I put it into the slot I heard the click. Then I connectected the upgraded PSU got the 6pin Pcie connector and plugged it into the graphis card. I removed the DVI connector from the motherboard and switched it in to the graphics card. I then turned the PC on and no boot. Nothing at all, its just black. I check inside the case if the GPU is dead but its not. The GPU fans were spinning, also were the case and cpu fans. There is no display at all.

Hi:

Since your PC originally came with W8, you have to change two BIOS settings in order for a non-HP graphics card to work.

See this link for the settings to change...

If that doesn't resolve the problem, then most likely the BIOS family your PC has is too old to run that model video card.

Yes prior to this post I did that. I repeatedly hit f10 and got there. Changed it with the left and right arrows to enable and disable to get legacy mode. Now I'm not sure if the Graphics card is dead or the bios is the problem.

@Inverted_User,

Remove the graphic card.  Return all setting to defaults (undue what you did).

Hopefully it will boot.  You did not need to tamper with the APU driver.

Once it is stable, then start over.  Only disable Secure Boot.  Do not set to Legacy.

I am returning the GTX 1060 6gb because I think it is dead. I will be getting a new GTX 1060 6gb the same one. This brand new one was checked with their own test bench if it does boot. I will recieve it in like two weeks. If this tested and new GTX 1060 does not work. Then the msi ms-7778 I can say is at fault.  I read something on Tom's Hardware that this isn't a UEFI motherboard and that some GPUs only use UEFI. I don't know what UEFI is. I only know basic stuff and not these things. So now I need to find a FM2 motherboard that is UEFI? Can anyone confirm this because I spent a lot of money on this already and I don't really now if I should buy a FM2 motherboard that is UEFI. Also, is there any FM2 motherboards that are UEFI and not AMI?
