Solved!

Number of M.2 slots in Slim Desktop S01-pF0320nd

HP Recommended
Slim Desktop S01-pF0320nd

Hello community!

The motherboard spec of the Milton motherboard in the S01-pF0320nd says there ought to be one M.2 A-key slot and two M.2 M-key slots. I can, however, only find one M.2 A slot and one M.2 M slot.

Am I probably missing something or maybe the spec is incorrect?

BR,

Jürgen

@JGBe Welcome to HP Community!

I understand that you are unable to find the M2 slot on the motherboard.

I have checked the specification.

Your product has a Wireless card.

Realtek 802.11b/g/n/a/ac (1x1) and Bluetooth® 4.2 combo

It has used the other M2 slot.

Thank you for your effort and response.

As I said in my original post, I found the M.2 A-slot, this is the one with the wireless card, and I found one M.2 M-slot, this is the one with the SSD.

I originally checked the Motherboard Specifications (also accessible from the link to the spec you kindly posted) and it states

one A-key slot

two M-key slots.

As a matter of fact I yesterday had a phone call with HP support and she also told me that there probably is just one M-key slot.

So the most likely conclusion is the Milton motherboard spec is simply not correct in that point.

I admit it was wishful thinking on my side, which made me rely on that in the first place.

No big deal. I suggest HP revises the spec.

Best regards,

Jurgen
