OMEN 25L Desktop - GT11-0012na
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

 I have purchased a new OMEN 25L Desktop - GT11-0012na

There is a free/empty SATA Hard Drive bay inside, a spare SATA data cable, so I can install my old 3.5 inch SATA drive

but no spare / free SATA power cable

The motherboard does not appear to have a spare SATA power plug / socket

Any advice ?

Thanks

Kevin

@VeryOldMan1 , welcome to the forum.

I believe this "Y" adapter will be what you need:  https://www.amazon.com/Benfei-Power-Y-Splitter-Cable-Inches/dp/B07ML447FG/ref=pd_lpo_328_img_0/133-5...

It will allow you to turn one power connector into two to power two SATA drives.  You may have to find one that is longer, however.

Please click the Thumbs up + button if I have helped you and click Accept as Solution if your problem is solved..
