Omen 880-002nl NVME support

Hi,

 

I have an Omen Desktop 880-002nl with the Higos 8309 1.0 motherboard. I want to upgrade my storage, at the moment I have a 2TB HDD but I want to improve my system performance with an M.2 SSD.

I saw that my motherboard has an M.2 slot and the spec page confirmed that it is the right M.2 slot for an SSD, but I want to make sure that my motherboard supports M.2 NVME SSDs, it would be bad if I buy an NVME one and discover afterwards that my mobo supports only SATA storage. Do you have any informations about that?

  • 256 GB M.2 PCIe NVMe Solid State + 2 TB 7200 rpm HDD (3.5 in)
