I have had my HP Omen for about 4 years, I have upgraded the hard drive a few times. Right now I have an M.2, and two 2TB hard drives. I tried to upgrade my hard drives to two 8TB that are from my NAS. I connected the 8TBs to a USB to create an external to clone the data over, which was fine. I then took out the two 2TBs and put the 2 8TBs in, but Windows doesn't recognize them. Not in computer management, not in device manager, disk partition, or the BIOS. I tried to upgrade the BIOS through the HP website, but the files don't download through the HP downloader. I manually downloaded them, double clicked it, but it didn't do anything (just the accept EULA stuff).
I'm pretty sure it's the BIOS since I can see it externally, just not connected to the SATA ports, but how do I upgrade it if it won't let me? I tried to do it through the BIOS, but the file I downloaded doesn't show up.

I guess it's not the BIOS. The updated BIOS finally was able to download and I installed it. BIOS, computer management, disk partition, nothing sees the 8TB or 14TB internal hard drives. I set it up as an external hard drive for now, until someone can figure this out.
In case somebody needs it, I have the HP Omen 875-0024. Product number 4NM66AA.
