Product: Omen X Bare Chassis
Hi there! I own the Omen X empty chassis and I'm in the process of building the system. There is a cable coming from the back of the hard drive enclosure. By putting the part number through the part store, it's described as "Cable - U.2 SSD, Typhon". Does anyone know what this cable is for and which bay on the Omen X it connects to. I've poured through the manuals but found no mention of it.

Here is a guide that will hopefully explain what the cable does.  I have to admit it was new terminology for me, also.

If you are referring to cable with part number:  906947-001, this is for Intel 8639 SSD.  Attached photo shows how to

 

connect.
