My desktop went out of warranty and when I go to find updates and drivers the HP website won't take me to where I can find out downloads and install them? Matter of fact it doesn't seem like they will do anything unless I'm under warranty. At least Dell will allow you to download and update. I don't think it matters but I went from 8GB to 16GB of memory (that's maxed out on this desktop) that I would need any drivers or updates? This p/c is about 2 years old and would think there's some driver/updates available?

Since you were already provided the link to the HP Win8x drivers for your PC, if you're having problems with any  particular driver, you might be able to replace it with an HP driver by installing that driver in compatibility mode: http://www.windows10forums.com/articles/compatibility-mode.7/

Hi:

Below is the link to the support and driver page for your PC.

http://support.hp.com/us-en/drivers/selfservice/HP-Pavilion-500-200-Desktop-PC-series/5399647/model/...

It appears that HP only supports it for W8 and W8.1.

Yes, so it looks like I can't get any updates or drivers because mine is a windows 10?

HP Recommended

That is correct.

If you want to add more memory  from 8GB to 16GB after you upgrade OS to win10, I think that you did not need worry about any driver concern. Add memory size will be control by HW/BIOS, machine will detect them then go.

And your machine did not have win10 driver update on HP website, but you still can execute Windows Update to check, if Microsoft or vendor ( HP or others  ), you still can get new driver update until Windows Update stop to service your machine by win10 warranty policy.

So what your saying is my p/c is going to go down hill fast? Even though it's running ok now?

HP Recommended

It says the compatibility mode will only work with Windows Vista and before, and I bought this p/c with Windows 8.

HP Recommended

It's been running fine on Windows 10
