Welcome to our HP community forum!
Your HP Pavilion Gaming Desktop 690-0073w (2HL14AA) as fitted with a Lincs motherboard (SSID: 843B) and a 400-watt power supply (p/n: L04618-800) -please verify, can be upgraded to a smaller-sized (two fan) RTX 4060 model powered by a single 8-pin PCIe power cable, such as this affordably priced (under $300) purchase example: https://www.amazon.com/MSI-RTX-4060-Architecture-2X/dp/B0C8BPW1SP/ref=sr_1_1?crid=3HQGYKTKKVFN&dib=e....
The advantage of this 115-watt TDP GPU upgrade is that you don't need to upgrade your power supply. The graphics performance of an RTX 4060 compared with your current GPU (120-watt TDP) are very substantial: UserBenchmark: Nvidia GTX 1660-Ti vs RTX 4060.
If you want even higher graphics card performance, a 500-watt power supply with p/n: L05757-800 is compatible with your desktop and would allow additional GPU options.
Hope this was helpful.
Kind Regards,
