Product: Z2 G4
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Long story short, I'm getting one of these PCs.  I'd like to know if I can replace the enclosed PSU with an EVGA 650W GQ PSU that I already own.  I'm doing this so I can use it to power an nVidia GTX 1060 GPU.  It appears that the size should be fine, but I'm curious as to the power connectors on the motherboard.  Did HP use custom power connectors like they've done in the past?  I can't seem to find any official HP document that shows the different power connectors and pin-outs for this PC.  Thanks.

(the optional upgraded HP 500 or 650 watt supplies for the z2 g4 tower is fine for a nvidia 1060 series video card, buy a system with it pre installed)

Guess I wasn't too clear, when I said "I'm getting one of these PCs".  I'm getting one given to me, without knowing too many of the specs such as what PSU it has.  It MIGHT have the 650w PSU (I doubt it though).  I already have a very good PSU in the EVGA model I mentioned, so I'd really like to avoid purchasing an HP-branded PSU if I don't have to.  I know from past experience that some HP motherboards use a funky power port that required an adapter if you use a non-HP branded PSU as an upgrade, and that's one of my concerns.

again, the stock 500 watt supply will power a nvidia 1060, GeForce GTX 1060 - On your average system the card requires you to have a 350~400 Watts power supply per nvidia

your system will either come with a 500 or 650 watt supply, and the main system board is different between the two

 

the 650W "chassis" (6CX04AV) and the 500W chassis (2ZS06AV) have different part number references 

 

L13216-601 "SPS-BD SYS Z2G4 TWR/SFF WIN"  matches the 500W chassis (single P4 connector)

L55875-601 "SPS-BD SYS Z2G4 - R - TWR/SFF WIN" chassis comes with the 650w one and has dual P4 connectors

 (see pict below, look at top left for the dual four  pin P4 jacks )
