Product: HP Envy 795-0056nb
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I'm able to buy a HP Envy 795-0056nb at a quite low price. As far as I know the max power draw would be 400W through a HP PAVILLION PSU 942332-001 psu? Is that correct or are there psu's with a higher power draw?

 

With the extra power draw a 2060 should be feasible at least, or even a 2070. This extra TDP would need some extra fans in my opinion.. Can intake fans be mounted on the side panel? (I saw there are perforations on the left side) And would I need a fan controller as I assume there will be only one chassis fan connector on the motherboard.

There is a 500W PSU HP model L05757-800.   Side panel fans can be added (your choice), but power any from a SATA power splitter. Then on one of the leads utilize a 3 pin fan power tap.  The fan would run at full speed, so get a quieter fan, or a fan that allows speed control.

This system is feedback driven thru Solution and Kudo flags. It's the only means of knowing if you have been served. Please click Accept as Solution, if your problem is solved. To say THANK YOU, press the "thumbs up symbol" to render a KUDO. You can render both Solution and KUDO..
