Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hello, has anyone ever actually upgraded the cpu on a HP Pavilion  with sunflower motherboard? mine being the 690-0024 model. I know what the website lists as compatible upgrades for cpu, but am wondering if anyone here has done it succesfully? I'm only doubting what the website lists becuase of how proprietary this computer seems to be on further inspection (Amd cpu with a custom fan mount so amd fans dont work). Just wondering if any one here has done it, and if so is it as simple as plug and play new cpu or is there some software or updates it needs?
