Pavilion p6 desktop PC on-board card reader not working - I sometimes have to restart my PC, insert the memory card, wait 5 ~ 10 minutes and it reads ok.

Hi Promethee,
My Device Manager below 'Disc drives' shows "Multiple Card Reader" and the 'Properties' shows Driver version 10.0.19041.789   Driver date 21/06/2006   Digital Signer Microsoft Windows.
Both SD and Micro SD with adapter have the same problem trying to read.

you do not have a manufacturer reference, no memory?
it's often realtek, but try

Find your drivers. Analyze your PC and your blue screens.

possible that it is a hardware problem, in this case, apart from finding another reader, I have hardly any solution
