Product: HP Slim Desktop 290-a0xxx
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hi - I have an entry level HP Slim Desktop for my son. It only has 4GB memory (PC4-2666V-SC0-11) - and was crawling. I bought an 8GB module online (Transcend JM2666HSG-8G) which the store claimed was compatible (JM DDR 2666 SO-DIMM 1Rx16 1.2v is on the label). However, the PC just keeps beeping when I boot -- suggesting that it is compatible? Any tips please.
