I was wondering if I could install a 3600mhz ran kit (https://m.newegg.com/products/N82E16820232731?ignorebbr=1&nm_mc=AFC-C8Junction&cm_mmc=AFC-C8Junction...) and run it at full 3600mhz with ryzen master

Greetings,
Welcome to the forum.
I am not a HP employee.
HP supports DDR4-2400 on your motherboard (MB). (Link) to motherboard specs.
HP consumer MBs don't support overclocking.
The 3600 Mhz RAM may work but only at 2400 Mhz.
I suggest you go to Crucial Memory (Link) for compatible memory for your PC.
You can drill down to your product number at Crucial's site or use Crucial's automated tool to find memory.
Regards

I actually looked at the ram module that comes with the computer itself and it is a 2666mhz stick. I went into ryzen master to confirm this, and it said that the module ran at full speed in stock settings. I was also able to oc the stick to 3266mhz with ryzen master, so the specs on HP's website are either BS or don't apply to 3rd party software like ryzen master.

i traded my factory 8gb stick off for a 10603gb with 10gb ddr3 ram and a few other things....but i can confirm that i overclocked that factory stick b4 exchanging it to teamgroup vulkan 2400 oc to 3200 mhz now. loads of beeps n stuff. but yeah RM works well with the hp 590, (690 0013w(what i have)

be careful running it at overclock whne your not gaming it degrades your cpu, i can get a max oc of 3950 out of mine at 1.45 but i dont run it at that. i also have 16 gb teamgroup ram 2400 oc to 3200 with tightend timings, as well as a zotac 1060 6gb amp edition on the STOCK 310 watt psu, i did however find a adapter for this to make a normal psu work, its a 24 pin to 6 pin server adap[ter for hp, just google that youll find it. i have no crashes and my gpu is overclock +150 core and +450 mem way better then the 1050 it came with but died rather quickly due to fan failuer, then was using a 750ti ftw moded bios to get max oc of 1416 core and 32++ dont remember, anyways bios says 2400 mhz but cpuz and all benchmarks show its running at 3200 if i set it to 2400 manually or reset the ram speed by popping out the ram and trying to boot (will reset) then leave itand bench mark its lower then what it would be with it claiming overclocked to 3200...so you can upgrade i do know that just use rememconfig.bat in ryzen folder and set to the mzh you want then run it itl will auto config timings for that ram to run right. then you can tighten it up yourslef, beware of the beeps, on the single been which is like number 4 post enter your ram back in itll post back up.

I don't run my OC unless I'm gaming, thanks for the advice. I also have my voltages a lot lower. My ram is only at 1.3375v and my CPU OCed to 3.875ghz is at 1.3875v. I can get my 2200g to 3.9ghz at 1.4v, but I tuned the OC down for the sake of temps. Also I didn't touch the timings on the ram, just slightly upped the voltage. Speaking of the adapter, I was wondering if you also have to use a 6 pin to 4 pin adapter or just let the other pins hang over the edge.

what do you mean 6pin to 4pin? for ? my psu came with a 6 pin for a gpu upgrade and im now running everything mentioned b4 but with a zotac 1060 6gb amp edition without the backplate...yeah that guy upgraded me to the 6gb card bc hes brother sold the other one without notice i did have to wait. and im still currently using the 310 watt psu. with the r5 2400g 2x8 gb sticks teamgroup ram,,you seen already.... i can get an overclock on the 2400g to 4 ghz at 1.45 but the fan MAN THE FAN would rather let the pc catch fire at 90c then do its job earlier on... when it hits tho it sounds like a tornado lol...so i keep my overclock at 3900 at 1.39375 even tho the bios bat you can enter doesnt verify nor does task manager verify the benchmarks dont lie....

just in case you dont believe lol gwarc is in the other forum on this site im posting in as well...actually EVERY post ive ever seen or made hes always there trying to help if not solving people issues... so ty to him for that but yea this is my zotac 1060 6gb on the hp 690 0013w build with stock psu....
