HP EliteDesk 800 G1
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hello guys!

There is a PC I've seen that is relatively cheap that I want to buy, which is the HP Elitedesk 800 G1 SFF.

The specs for it is;

  • CPU: i5-4570

  • SSD: 240GB (I want to upgrade to Samsung 860 Evo 1TB)

  • HDD: 500GB (Remove it and use SSD instead)
  • RAM: 16GB RAM, 2400 Mhz

  • GPU: None (if you don't count the Intel HD), but I have a GTX 1050 Ti Low profile that I want to add and use.

Now since this doesn't have a lot of PSU, i think it's 240W, is it possible to buy a Samsung 860 Evo 1TB (https://www.amazon.co.uk/Samsung-MZ-76E1T0B-EU-Solid-State/dp/B078WST5RK)

And add and use my GTX 1050 Ti Low Profile, 4GB i have at home (https://www.newegg.com/amp/msi-geforce-gtx-1050-ti-gtx-1050-ti-4gt-lp/p/N82E16814137081)

I've seen that some have written that was able to get the GTX 1050 Ti up and running and worked great! However 240GB storage is too low, that's why i want to add at least 1TB instead. It doesn't even have to be specifically the Samsung 860 Evo, i just chose that due to the reability. Or should i keep the 240GB SSD and upgrade the HDD instead to 1TB?

Do you think this PC can handle the small upgrade? 🙂
