Hello All
Does anyone know if it possible to upgrade the power supply on the hp 590-p0030?
the current one is 310w. Looking for something around 450-500w

@KirillB , welcome to the forum.
Unfortunately, the most powerful power supply unit (PSU) that you can install in your computer is 400W. Here is a Power Supply Cross-Reference Chart: https://h30434.www3.hp.com/t5/Desktop-Knowledge-Base/Power-Supply-Cross-Reference-for-specific-model...
Your model is not listed, but any of the PSU's shown for the 590 series will work. Your motherboard is a proprietary. It has a 4-pin power connector instead of the standard 24-pin ATX power connector. You will have to buy the PSU from HP.

This machine is unique, i was thinking about replacing the case and the power supply, but the the logic board is custom too. 🙂
i’ll probably go with 400w, thanks

it was hard to find to picture of the actual power supply just by the part number. I found the the mode that comes with it 690-0073w, and checked the back of the machine to see how the power supply looks like. looks like you are right.
