Welcome to the HP Community --
Some printers support "Quiet Mode".
When supported, the information is located in your printer's user manual.
Best to read about the setting -- some things work differently if the printer is set to "quiet".
Open
Enter the device type and model name of your HP product
Open Category Setup & User Guides
Find and open the user manual for your printer.
Search for the word "Quiet" - if found, read the information about the setting.
==========================================================
If Quiet Mode is supported,
(and)
If the printer is on the network,
Look for-- and adjust -- the setting using the Embedded Web Server (EWS).
EWS > HP Document / How-to
Use the HP printer Embedded Web Server (EWS)
NOTE: Find printer IP address
Section Open the EWS over a local network orientation
Open your Browser > Type / enter the Printer IP address into URL / Address bar
Tab Settings > Preferences > Quiet Mode
Select Off or On and click Apply
Example - EWS - Settings > Preferences > Quiet Mode
EWS_9025_Settings_Preferences_Quiet_Mode_1
