Processor compadtibility with the OMEN 880

HP Recommended
Omen 880
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

So, I have an Omen 880 from 2017, and I was wondering if the AMD Ryzen 5 3600XT 6-core is compatible with the Omen 880 stock motherboard since this is the first upgrade I'm giving my pc, if not is there any good processors that are compatible with my pc motherboard.
I'm looking for a processor that can run larger games like Microsoft's Flight Simulator since it literally lags on GTA 5 so I doubt its current processor can run Microsoft Flight Simulator and I don't want to spend 70 bucks on a game that causes my pc to lag.
