I’m adding a link to a hp gaming computer with a sunflower mother board. My question is can the cpu be upgraded to new AMD Ryzen 3600.

Welcome to the forum.

I am not a HP employee.

 

The Forum would need your PC's product number only (Link) to check CPU upgrade options.

 

If the processor you are looking at is not on HP's original processor upgrade list at your PC's Product Support site you may need a BIOS update from HP. This BIOS update must include microcode which adds support for newer processors.
