RAM SPEED HP 790-00050t CTO with
03-12-2021 07:52 AM

The Pavilion HP 790-00050 came with a Berks 844C motherboard and H370 chip set. Memory installed was 16GB 04EF 2666MHz DDR4 SDRM at apparent clock speed of ~1330=13.33X989.8mHz. Can't find anywhere in Bios F.32 that will allow memory to run at the RAM rated speed. Not trying to overclock just run at the factory installed RAM rated speed. Is the best it gets?

Hi,
Your RAM is running at the correct speed. You have dual channel memory running at DDR (double data rate). This is true if you have two memory modules correctly installed (factory configuration) on the motherboard.
HP does not provide BIOS settings to modify memory timings above 2666. 2666 is the allowable HP factory memory speed for this MB.
1333 (clock speed) x 2 = 2666
