how do i go about gettting more RAM?? i need this for work and i am not sure how. I am not tech savvy.

If you plan on upgrading the memory yourself, consult the maintenance and service guide at the link below, chapter 1 for the memory upgrade info and chapter 5 for the memory removal and replacement procedure.

Your notebook can support 2 x 8 GB of DDR4-2666 MHz memory.

 

Since it already has one 8 GB memory chip, you just need to add another one in the empty slot.

 

This should be a compatible 8 GB memory chip for your notebook:

 

Crucial 8GB DDR4-3200 SODIMM | CT8G4SFRA32A | Crucial.com

 

The DDR4-3200 memory will automatically bridge to 2666 MHz, which is as fast as your notebook's processor can run the memory at.
