HP EliteDesk 800 G1 Small Form Factor PC

I wanted to know if there are any good options to upgrade the ram and/or graphics card. If someone could give me a link with ram and gpus that would be really helpful. My PC is an HP EliteDesk 800 G1 SFF

@bnowg,

Welcome to our HP community forum!

Your HP EliteDesk 800 G1 SFF can be fitted with up to 4 x 8GB of DDR3 PC3-12800, 1600 MHz, Non-ECC, Unbuffered, DIMM (UDIMM), 240-pin RAM sticks, such as this very affordable/quality dual-rank 4x8GB RAM kit offered via Amazon: Timetec 32GB KIT(4x8GB) DDR3L / DDR3 1600MHz (DDR3L-1600) PC3L-12800 / PC3-12800 Non-ECC Unbuffered ....

Other (impressive) system (CPU, GPU) upgrades can be seen in this HP System EliteDesk 800 G1 SFF User benchmark link: UserBenchmark: HP EliteDesk 800 G1 SFF Compatible Components.

And (externally placed) ATX power supply upgrades for graphics card upgrades can be achieved using this HP desktop-specific ATX power adapter, such as this purchase example: Amazon.com: 24 Pin to 6 Pin ATX Power Adapter Cable for HP Z220 Z230 SFF MT TWR Series 4000 6005 830....

Hope this was helpful.

Kind Regards,

Hi, I was wondering if there was a gpu I could put directly onto the motherboard without needing an adapter or anything like that. Is it possible for you to find me one? Id appreciate it a ton. Thank you!

@bnowg,

With your stock 240-watt power supply, you could power a low-profile RX 6400GIGABYTE RX 6400 Low Profile Specs | TechPowerUp GPU Database. Other options -though these cards may struggle with your low-wattage power supply: a low-profile GTX 1050 Ti: GIGABYTE GTX 1050 Ti OC Low Profile Specs | TechPowerUp GPU Database, a low profile RTX A2000, or a low profile GTX 1650.
