Envy 20-d030
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I just installed new RAM - two 8 GB DDR3L-1600 SODIMM cards - in my Envy 20-d030.  I had 6 GB before and according to manual it was upgradable to 16.  The computer now shows  8 GB RAM in total.  What did I do wrong?  Computer or card error?

The scan says I have an open slot.  Only showing the 1 8GB card.

ran the system analyzer, showed open slot.  Opened up computer and reseated cards.  That did the trick.

Thanks for the advice!
