Hi, I would like to use my 2x8gb 3600mhz corsair ram instead of the stock 1x16gb 2933mhz. I installed them but they work at 2133mhz  instead of the maxium 2933mhz that the motherboard is capable of. Any suggestions?

if not the possibility, with your computer, , so you have no advantage, keep the original memory , will probably be your best option

What if i just buy another 16gb so they work in dual channel? They should work at 2933 right? Where can i buy the same exact ram?

HP Recommended

If your motherboard accepts a certain type of module, you will need to purchase the same

Even if you find modules of the same type, but slightly different, it might not work

if you want, I can search in the community, there may be examples

the crucial site is usually a good help, but I'm not sure here

I've tried 2x8gb ram 3600mhz and 2x8gb 3200mhz. Either way they work at 2133mhz and i can't find a way to change the frequency.  So I'm thinking that maybe if i buy the same exact ram that the pc came with (1x16gb 3200mhz) they would probably work dual channel at 3200 (sk hynix). But i can't find it anywhere. Any suggestions?

hi

Memory
16 GB DDR4-2933 MHz RAM (1 x 16 GB)

I do not understand what you want
according to the product page you must have this
You have no interest in trying anything else
Your computer must have enough memory, with 16 gb, right?
You cannot use an unsupported frequency!
