Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Good evening HP community,

 

 i have a question, i want to upgrade my ram for my gaming desktop, i already have 8gb but i want to put another stick of ram into it. which ram should i choose? i have a picture of the information about the ram: Cpu z memory.PNG

i hope someone can help me, i have 1 or either 3 slots left.

Here is the memory that is recommended by Crucial Memory: https://www.crucial.com/compatible-upgrade-for/hp---compaq/pavilion-gaming-tg01-1000nd

 

The maximum of 64 GB is not correct, however.  The specifications from HP state 32 GB as the maximum: https://support.hp.com/us-en/product/hp-pavilion-gaming-desktop-pc-tg01-1000i/32480786/model/3492697...

 

You can contact Crucial's Tech Support for help with assuring their memory would be compatible with your current memory.  The motherboard has Dual Channel Memory Architecture.  This means that the memory should be installed in matching pairs to get the best performance from it.  Your best option would be to buy the exact memory from HP.
