Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

So, i recently got my first computer for my birthday. And i noticed alot of things require more ram then i have useable (i have 8gb installed, 5 usable) would upgrading the ram be possible/ would it void my warrenty and, if not which is better, 2 sticks of 8 gbs, or 1 stick of 16gb, it says it has a motherboard limit of 16, i have no idea how any of this works

the rule is, you do not damage anything, you replace the computer in the original configuration, and normally no worries, for the warranty:

You must install a module as close as possible in case of addition.
Because sometimes the two modules are not compatible with each other

so you can try to add an 8gb module to upgrade to 16gb
but if that doesn't work, you may have to buy the same new module
