Re: Question about 590-p0020 RAM slots.

I am also a novice when it comes to computer upgrades. What would be the difference between a RAM drive, and an SSD drive?

Re: Question about 590-p0020 RAM slots.

@Emmanne,

I sliced your inquiry away from the question on the 590-p0020.  I am not certain you actually own that model ?? There is no such thing as a RAM drive, but I do believe I can help.

Components other than the CPU chip, and heatsink/fan assembly:

1) RAM is called memory. It is inserted into the motherboard RAM slots.  What is RAM link.

2) Windows OS (WIN 10), and the User Accounts are stored on a storage device.

3) What is a hard drive versus an SSD storage device.  Link.
