HP Pavilion 595-p0049
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

The HP Support Assistant keeps showing this as an optional update but the installation fails. I am guessing due to the update being for a notebook although my computer is a desktop. I deleted the update several times but it keeps recurring. How can I stop it from coming?

Update: SoftPaq number sp96600 version 10.0.17763.31247

Please download the following SP and install manually yourself

Thank you for your assistance. I have installed that sp but it didn't say anything about  a success or a fail but hopefully it works.

Finally that same update came back again and still wants to be installed.

@DaveMacD

Did you find a solution for this problem?  I am just having it myself.  Thanks

No the update just came back again today for me too. This is absurd.

Is this the only place to get help or assistance?
