ENVY Phoenix 800-050se
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Oi,

Was wondering what the best option (bang-for-the-buck-wise) to upgrade my aged (circa 2013) rig's gfx card might be.

Running stock Nvidia GTX 645 currently , 600W PSU. Primarily used for gaming and graphic arts.

Ran across  EVGA GeForce GTX 1060 SC GAMING, ACX 2.0 (Single Fan), 06G-P4-6163-KR, 6GB GDDR5, DX12 OSD Support (PXOC) recommended for similar rigs but also saw GTX 1660 Ti XC being "cited" as "newer" equipment.

Wasn't sure how much of a card I can shoe-horn into the stock case without a rubber mallet since most are running dual fans now and if that is even a wise option.

Thanks in advance for your time.🖖

Hello
to be able to answer you, it would be necessary to have tested the two models.
Try the graphics card comparisons ... (ex : https://gpu.userbenchmark.com/ )
the prices are most likely not the same
it's up to you to see if you prefer to opt for the most expensive or not.
from what I have seen, it depends on the models, one and sometimes more efficient, and sometimes the opposite ...
Above all, check the dimensions, required power supply, what is required in additional pci power supply

1x 6-pin 1x 8-pin ??

etc!
