Hi! Need to speed up my PC performance, and think of installing an SSD. From what I have found, there is an M.2 (key A) slot available on the motherboard. Can this be used with an M.2 SSD, or do I rather need to replace the original HDD with a 2.5" SATA SSD ?

Hi:

The M.2 (key A) slot can only be used for a M.2 Wi-Fi adapter, and according to the specs PC comes with a M.2 wifi adapter.

Your only option would be to replace the mechanical hard drive with a 2.5" SSD.

You will also need a 3.5" to 2.5" drive adapter to properly fit the 2.5" SSD where the 3.5" drive mounts to.
