Apparently my mother board is defect, and needs to be replaced. Can you please let me know what mother board that I should buy?

@Bergis, welcome to the forum.
You can try HP Partsurfer to see if HP has a new motherboard for your computer. If they don't have one, you should run a search on a website, such as, ebay. Your best option is to buy the same motherboard so the Recovery media and all of the connectors are the same.
