I would like to replace the PSU of my Elitedesk 800 G3 SFF as the fan seems to start failing and making a high "hum".
But there are so many different revisions and version? that I'm unable to tell which one would be the right PSU. A lot of ebay listings say its for example for the G2 instead. Would that work?
I dont need a brand new one (100€+) especially since the price is double the price that I bought it for but I also don't really need a higher Wattage PSU for the stuff I do with it at the moment eventho that would be a nice bonus.

Hi @Kastello
The part number is as follows, use that part number in a search engine to find a reseller
913149-001 | Power supply unit - For 180W 92% efficient rating |

Thanks!
But a 901912-004 probably wont work right? (Or something from newer generation G4/5 etc) Somehow spare parts /PSU's for the G3 seems to be non existent. At least if I look up your part number which explains why they are so expensive.
Which would mean to buy another used Elitedesk 800 G3 SFF would be the better and actually cheaper option to get one.

probably works, on economic advice, I have no say in whether you buy a new PC or a power supply.

HP changes the product numbers many times but the power supplies are the same but manufactured in different years.
