My Pavilion Elite e9260f Desktop came with the NVIDIA GeForce GT230 PCI Express x16 Gen2 video card with 4095 total available graphics memory and 1536 MB of dedicated video memory. The brushless cooling fan on the card is now making noise and I'd like to replace the video card before I have a more serious issue. The Desktop is not upgradable to Windows 11, so I plan to buy a new desktop in the next 6 months so. I don't want to spend a lot of money on replacing the video card, and a refurbished card would be fine for now. . Does HP sell a replacement video card or can anyone recommend a value replacement card?

Hi:
I recommend you buy a used but tested and working Nvidia GT 210.
It is not as powerful as the GT230, but it is also fanless, so no noisy fan or a fan to conk out on you.
You just basically need a graphics card, so you have video.

The low-profile mounting bracket cards are for slim tower PC's.
Yours is a standard tower PC.
Here is a link to one of the type cards you need...notice that the silver mounting bracket extends far beyond the body of the graphics card..It appears that most of the listings have this type of mounting bracket.

This is the type you don't want because the silver mounting bracket is too short.
