Pavilion 500-238d
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I replaced the i5-4440 CPU that came with this PC with an i7-4790 but the temperatures are running hot with the cpu cooler that it comes with. I was thinking about switching to a Cooler Master Hyper H410R but I'm worried about it not fitting onto the motherboard (it's currently in a bigger case so height should not be an issue). I'm also using both RAM slots so there's even less space. Will the cooler fit and if not, are there any options anyone could recommend?

@ZarirN

Both CPU's (i5-4440 and i7-4790) consume same 84W

That means the i7 won't run hotter. Plesae check your thermal paste and correct/apply properly.

I recommend that you emulate the rest of us who build their own desktops PCs do.

Get the dimensional specs on the candidate processor cooler and then measure  the  dimensions of  the available space on your motherboard and its case .

That way you will know if it fits before purchase.
