I got a hold of an old HP Pavilion. Its tag shows that it is Model Number: a6422.me
Product Number: KP409AA-ABV with IPIBL-LB Motherboard. The BIOS which is 5.22, dated 3/28/2008 does not let me boot from USB. Please help me locating downloads for latest BIOS and software for this HP Pavilion.

HP retired support for your PC since it is more than 10 years old.

 

This reputable 3rd party driver website has the last BIOS update HP released for your PC:

 

v.5.43    06 Aug 2010

 

HP Pavilion a6422.me BIOS v.5.43 (driverscollection.com)

 

Note that the BIOS update was only designed to run using Windows XP, Windows Vista or Windows 7.
