Hi @Tom241600,
Welcome to HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
The HP Slim 201-pf2012 desktop typically comes with integrated Intel UHD Graphics, which should support dual monitors. However, whether you can display different images on each screen depends on your operating system and graphics card drivers.
Here's how you can set up dual monitors with different images on Windows.
- Connect both monitors to your desktop's available video outputs (HDMI, DisplayPort, etc.).
- Right-click on the desktop and select "Display settings."
- Under the "Multiple displays" section, ensure that "Extend these displays" is selected.
- You should see both monitors represented. Select the monitor you want to change the wallpaper for.
- Scroll down and click on "Advanced display settings."
- Note the name of the monitor and close this window.
- Now, right-click on an image you want to set as wallpaper and choose "Set as desktop background."
- The image should now appear on one of your monitors.
- To set a different image for the other monitor, press Windows key + R to open the Run dialog, type control /name Microsoft.Personalization /page pageWallpaper and press Enter.
- In the Personalization window, select the image you want for the other monitor and set it as the wallpaper.
For macOS, the process is slightly different.
- Connect both monitors to your desktop.
- Go to the Apple menu and select "System Preferences."
- Click on "Displays."
- Go to the "Arrangement" tab.
- You'll see both monitors represented. Arrange them according to your physical setup.
- Close the "Displays" window.
- Now, open the image you want to set as wallpaper.
- Right-click on the image and select "Set Desktop Picture."
- The image should now appear on one of your monitors.
- To set a different image for the other monitor, repeat the process for that monitor.
Following these steps should allow you to have different wallpapers on each of your dual monitors.
I hope this helps.
Take care and have a good day.
