SATA ports in HP desktop computer

Does the

HP M01-F1875no

have built-in SATA-ports on the motherboard? How many?

Is the a link to a picture that shows motherboard ans connectors?

I'm planning t buy one. AND I want to add two(2) old SATA-ports disks to it?

(I don't want to use PCIEx1 port because there is only one and it need card also(=money))

From what I found elsewhere, as HP does not seem to have pictures or info answering your question - the motherboard is a

BakerMS and three SATA ports.  There appear to be labeled SATA0, SATA1 and SATA2.

The actual spec does not say whether there are actual SATA-ports on MB.

BakerMS seems to be more generic. Gigantti-store here said no but I would not

much rely on their opinion. Would nice to actually SEE picture.

HP support --- any takers for this question --- seems to hard to find an answer ???

IMHO, that is the motherboard for the HP M01-F1875no.  While the seller in the link lists a different model number in that ad, it is the same motherboard.  HP does not typically market a motherboard for just one model number PC.

That is the actual picture.  The spec page does not list any SATA ports but if you look at the port in the picture, it is a SATA port.  And there are three in total.

You can check other vendors that sell that motherboard if you like.  It is listed as HP part# L90451-001 and L90451-601 - several of the online parts vendors show a picture representing the same motherboard but their pictures are not as clear as the one I linked.

So it seems _not_  to hold what you said about ports ??

I take that Front and Back ports mean the PORTS that are on the surface(come to surface) on the machine itself.

And not what is on the MotherBoard  inside the machine itself?

(True: the picture shows 3 SATA ports and power connectors too. _But_ the model is not the one in question.)

Do you agree or did I understood something wrong?  (BTW: I'm in Finland )

The configuration on the sales site is referring to various options that are available.  For specific points on that subject, post a link for what you are looking at.

I still stand on my comments about the motherboard.

Yes, the Front and Back ports are for the case and what is available.  There typicality are no SATA ports on the outside unless they are eSATA or something similar.  I still say the BakerMS motherboard will not look different that the picture I posted.

Feel free to find a vendor selling the model under discussion and open the cover, if they will let you, to verify the label on the motherboard.

maybe you could ask an expert from the HP store !?

Also be careful, I did not research for this, but the number of ports available on the motherboard does not necessarily indicate how many additional disks you can place in the computer.
