I’m tired of trying to fix this continuous WiFi disconnecting/dropping issue. I tried Command lines on CMD, changing settings in the network properties, changing Power management control, updating drivers.

Now I’m at the point of taking things apart and replacing the network board with something better. Can anyone point me to a better one that is compatible with this lovely pc (HP Pavilion All-in-One PC 27ca1000i)

Thank you

I'd go with this card which would also be a slight upgrade:

Intel AX210 Wi-Fi 6E 2x2 AX + Bluetooth 5.2 M.2 2230 non-vPro   HP part # / SPS # M27269-005.

BTW: this is the latest driver HP has for the RTL8852BE Wi-Fi adapter:

6001.15.160.601

sp162860.exe

Thank you Paul, just ordered it. I’ll let you know how the process goes. Do you know any “how to” to replace it.

You're very welcome.

I found this video on opening up a model in the series.

You can see the Wi-Fi card to the right of the M.2 SSD after the person opens the back.

There is also this HP manual which may be of some help for opening up the PC.

The driver version on this pc after I reset network is 6001.10.356.3

I tried to install the driver you suggested but windows is not recognizing as a newer version.

According to the information I could find, these are the latest drivers HP has for the Realtek Wi-Fi cards:

RTL8822AE-VS, version 6102.24.133.0

RTL8851BE/RTL8852BE-VT, version 6101.19.132.0

RTL8852CE, version 6001.16.170.0

RTL8852BE/RTL8852BE-VS, version 6001.15.160.601

RTL8852AE, version 6001.10.356.3

RTL8822CE/RTL8822BE/RTL8821CE, version 2024.10.230.600

RTL8723BE/RTL8188EE, version 2024.0.4.208 (EOL, with Windows 10 19H1 WHQL)

So, if your PC has 6001.10.356.3 installed, your PC has a Realtek RTL8852AE Wi-Fi adapter, not the BE.

After looking on Dev Manager, Realtek RTL8852AE Wi-Fi adapter Is the right one, sorry.
the one on the subject line I got from the HP Parts list when I imputed my seria number.

They must have similar specs, and HP made a substitution.

One thing they have in common is that they don't work right.

I can’t say anything about the first line, but the second line is 100% spot on.  Can’t even manage to stay online long enough to do a simple update.

Before installing the Intel card, make sure that you uninstall both the Realtek Wi-Fi and Realtek Bluetooth adapter in the device manager and check the uninstall driver box.

Then you can shut down, unplug the PC and install the Intel card.

I recommend that you install the latest Wi-Fi and Bluetooth drivers directly from the Intel website at the links below:

I also found this service teardown video which appears to be for your PC's model series, and it has a procedure to remove and replace the Wi-Fi card.
