GT13-0032ns
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hi! I have an HP desktop Omen 30L series (P/N GT13-0032ns) and I want to install the additional SSD NVMe M.2 for 2Tb.

I've read the community and looks like it is possible.

I've saw the second slot available on my motherboard.

When looking the specs, the maximum Gen will be 3.

And after installation, I will need to change the BIOS mode for storage from RAID, which is currently set.

I would like kindly ask the HP specialists (or Guru regarding HP products) to confirm my investigations, since that kind of SSD are quite expensive, and I do not want to just loose money.

Any NVMe SSD M.2 Gen3 are suitable to this model?

Do I need to buy also the cooling cover or it is not necessary?

Thanks in advance for the prompt answers.

I would not do that -- it could prevent your copy of Windows from booting.

It does not matter if you have a "broken" RAID-set.

No one had the experience of upgrading SSD for GT13 model?
