Solved!

SSD kaart (harde schijf) intern

HP 110-200ed Desktop PC (ENERGY STAR)
Microsoft Windows 8.1 (64-bit)

Beste mensen,

Ik zou graag in mijn computer een 2.5 inch SATA SSD kaart willen monteren en de oude IDE harde schijf vervangen. Kan dat?

hi

look, confirm if the found model is yours,
We see on the picture, two sata ports

Motherboard Specifications (Camphor)

Originally you have an HDD and a DVD player, so no free sata!

one of the two will have to be removed
For space, you have to open, a small SSD, can sometimes break, otherwise, it will certainly have to be placed in place of the HDD, with a 2.5 to 3.5 adapter!

in any case, if you don't want any bad surprises, you have to open / check

Hi

please in English !

https://support.hp.com/sk-en/document/c04094870

if this one, not ide, i' ts sata, so yes

you should be able to install a sata 2.5 ssd with an adapter

try scan

Welcome to Crucial USA

the speed of the sata port may not be sufficient to use the SSD at full capacity, but it will certainly be better!
currently you have the mx500crucial SSDs, and the WD blue SSDs, good value for money!
But I can't guarantee it will work, for this model

Is there enough space in the case and connections on the motherboard to fit the SSD card? Do I need a bracket to fit the card in the comuputer?

Hello,

This particular PC was delivered with Windows 8.1 and some other software. A DVD containing the software was als included with the PC.

If I put a SSD card with bracket into this PC to replace the IDE hard drive is it possible I use the DVD included with the PC to put windows on the SSD card as a fresh installation?

Greetz,

Jan

Try it, but it might not work.
If your HDD hard drive is still working, try performing a full disk image
The manufacturer of the SSD, can provide this software
I bought a crucial ssd, and we can download the acronis software
otherwise you get free ones
