OMEN 30L Desktop PC GT13-1000i (1S3R9AV)

Hi,

So I upgraded my PC with 2tb of ram, KINGSTON SKC3000. When I installed the SSD I was able to use it for a couple of hours, but it then "disappeared". When I restart my PC I can see the drive "popping" up and I can use it for about 2-3 min sometimes, but then it disappear again. When I use Diskmanager I can see the disk, but when I try to "initiate" the disk I get an error message saying it doesn't exist.

I've checked with the store I bought it from and they have tested it, and they say it's fine and nothing wrong with the card.
I've checked with Microsoft support but they where unable to fix it.

So far I've reinstalled windows 11, checked the BIOS, a couple of Youtube videos and some tutorials on google, and many of them say I should just "initiate" the disk, but this is the problem, it doesn't work.

Any tips?

Ah.. There is no current possibility of having an HP consumer PC with 2TB of RAM.  Probably a typo.

What is the installed processor?

The Oasis motherboard that your PC has is compatible with PCIe x4 Gen 3 SSD products.

Are you using DiskPart to configure the SSD?

Did you mean initialize, rather than initiate?

Did you give the SSD Volume a disk letter?
