Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I have a 750-597c that keeps filling up the ssd C drive to the point where I get Windows 10 warning messages. I've moved some of my apps to the D drive and removed some large unnecessary files. There's not much more that I can do to reduce used space on the ssd. Is there a larger capacity ssd that I can use to replace the one that came with the computer? I would also like to image the current ssd onto the larger one so that I don't have to reinstall the OS and all my apps. What do you recommend?

Greetings Billjunk,

Welcome back to the forum.

I am not a HP employee.

You have a 128 GB SATA SSD.

You can upgrade to a larger 2.5 inch SATA SSD.

I use Macium Reflect free (Link) to clone drives.

Cloning operations using Macrium can reviewed at this (Link).

Tip, disconnect the secondary platter HDD SATA data and power cables and connect the new SSD to both cables when cloning to make things simpler.

Now connect the new SATA SSD to the 128 GB SATA data cable after you have cloned the 128 GB SSD to the new SSD.

Your PC should now boot to the new SATA SSD.

Regards
