HP-All-in-One 22-3100nd
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I would like to upgrade my HP-All-in-One 22-3100nd hard disk with a 500GB Samsung EVO 870 SSD (2,5")

I've 2 questions related to this upgrade:

1) How do I remove the rear cover to get access to the hard disk?

2) Do I need to buy a special bracket to mount the new SSD in the PC?

Thanks in advance for your help.

Kind regards

Ron

Hi Ron,

On page 13 in the link below you can see the steps to install the drive

http://h10032.www1.hp.com/ctg/Manual/c04717159.pdf

probably be easier to install if you get a 2.5 to 3.5 bracket

Example

https://www.amazon.com/Mounting-Bracket-SNANSHI-Adapter-Holder/dp/B0183FSG68/ref=sxin_10_ac_d_pm?ac_...

You can create a bootable USB before replacing the Drive with the OS on it and then use to install Windows

Download Windows 10

Once installed completely update the system in settings.

Hope it helps,

David
