HP Slimline Desktop - 290-p0055il
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hello,

I have an HP Slimline Desktop - 290-p0055il. I have learnt from other posts (and my own experience) that this motherboard only supports nvme ssd in the m.2 slot. I want to know if there is a storage limit. Can I put a 1tb nvme in it?

Hi:

You should be fine with a 1 TB M.2 NVMe SSD.

Sorry for asking another question, in the motherboard specification page the m.2 slot is mentioned as "M.2 socket 3, 2280 type for SSD". Does it support full pcie 3.0 x4 speed? I've heard that it only supports x2, i.e 16 Gb/s. Which is correct?
