Hello.
Today I am here to ask a question. I was trying to find out which ssd could be compatble for HP Pavilion 690-0004n.
I am not that expert so I don't know what should I buy, but I was thinking about Kingston SSD A400 2,5" SATA Rev 3.0 (SA400S37) for an upgrade.

Hi:
If this is your PC...

Instead of replacing the 3.5" mechanical hard drive, you may want to consider installing a much faster performing M.2 2280 NVMe SSD in the empty M.2 slot on the motherboard.
If you would rather replace the 3.5" drive with the 2.5" Kingston SSD, that would also be fine, but you will need a 3.5" to 2.5" adapter to properly fit the 2.5" SSD where the larger size hard drive goes.
Isn't the drive you picked out only 120 GB? That may not be enough storage capacity.
This is the 3.5" to 2/5" adapter I use since it is the same size as the 3.5" drive.
